Regular Meal Schedule:
Breakfast: 7:00 - 8:00 am
Lunch: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Dinner: 5:30- 6:30 pm
On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day we only serve two meals each day to the public: brunch at 10:00 am and dinner at 5:00 pm. We welcome all to share with us on these holiday occasions.
In 2007 Friendship House served over 48,000 meals to the needy of Skagit County. We generally serve three meals per day, seven days per week (excepting Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day when only brunch and dinner are served). Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the preparation and serving of these meals please call 360-336-1529.
Friendship House, in the tradition of the Gospel, has a mission to feed the hungry. To do this we receive donations from the public and from other agencies. We rely on volunteer labor. Many organizations volunteer to prepare and serve a meal a month. If you would like to donate food (please, no home canned food) or to sponsor a meal please send us an email at friends@cnw.com.
We rely on donations of food items. We can always use: meat, coffee, sugar, cheese, catsup, fresh vegetables and fruit, or canned goods.
