Live panel discussion will be hosted this Spring at Christianson's Vinery, on Best Rd. Mount Vernon.
Friendship House is hosting/moderating a panel of 4 guest speakers to address some of the innovations of supporting the needs in Skagit County, surrounding housing crisis, learning what is working as well as the stumbling blocks we find on our paths to help.
- Doors opening at 10am with panel to start at 10:30.
- Audience Q & A will promptly start at 11am, for fifteen minutes.
- Social time after for 45 minutes to mingle, snack and get your business card in for the door prize!

The audience (max 100 ppl) will include many connected service providers and potentially some allies in politics all hoping to see our intention of working together to do more. Audience questions and feedback will open for 15 minutes after the 30-minute panel topics conclude. There will be an option to stay to continue socially talking with the audience and each other over refreshments, after. (So, plan for at least an hour to an hour and a half in total)

Subject of discussion: Affordable Housing for single income households, fixed and low income earners. Especially considering our local senior population struggling with repetitious rent increases and our working homeless citizens, struggling to afford adequate housing.
