Providing Meals

Friendship House relies on local churches and service groups to bring, prepare and serve meals in the Friendship House Café. This generous support saves both time and money, reducing work load for our staff and cutting budgetary expenses.

Our groups take joy in the opportunity to prepare a nourishing meal and serve it to their homeless community members.

If you'd like to become a part of the Monthly Meal Club, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Olivia at 360.336.6138 or email carly@skagitfriendshiphouse.org

What got you involved?

“my interest in friendship House happened in that first time I served food down there and I actually saw the human need in front of me.  I witnessed the appreciation and the devastation in some people, in terms of their lives, and the importance of outreach, that’s when it called my attention to it”.
“ you know, part of our credo is to serve our fellow man.”
